Legal Counsel will be expected to draft scholarly articles, present at conferences, and conduct training events. Legal Counsel will be expected to engage in written and oral advocacy at the EU, ECHR, and related institutions, draft interventions and submissions, work collectively with allies and build coalitions to promote the sanctity of life, marriage and the family, and religious freedom. Legal Counsel drafts legal documents and memorandums, advises clients, and files cases. Specialized knowledge of EU law and EU institutions and procedure would be advantageous. Legal Counsel has familiarity with public international law, particularly human rights law, and is familiar with the processes of the EU, European Court of Human Rights, and United Nations. Legal Counsel requires fluency in English and ideally at least one additional major European language. Legal Counsel will conduct high quality legal advocacy in Europe to win the battle for religious liberty, life, and the family, including marriage.
